We are delighted to host the first Eden Wool Gathering in Scotland this July, with many famous wool and fabric artists and demonstrators, shepherding, rare breeds and historic clothing.
All donations are to Stranraer Cancer Care Drop-In with collections at the gate.
We open from April to October 31st, Sunday to Friday, 10.30 am to 4pm. Summer hours may be extended.
Your visit includes our chronological story of the development of Whithorn, the upper Gallery “Whithorn Cold Case” exhibition and our Audio Visual presentations, as well as our upcoming exhibit on the recent Iron Age dig; the ticket also includes access to the Iron Age roundhouse reconstruction via guided tour, and the Historic Scotland Museum of early mediaeval carved stones. The crypts are currently closed to the public. All tickets are valid for one year.
