Whithorn and St Ninian, The Excavation of a Monastic Town 1984 to 1991 was rebound in leather and given to the Pope by the Scottish Bishops.
Visits to the Visitor Centre, Dig site, Historic Scotland Museum, Priory ruins are free for the weekend. On the Sunday the re-enactment society Swords of Dalriada will set up camp on the dig-site
The Friends of the Whithorn Trust will hold their AGM at the Whithorn Trust Visitor Centre on Wednesday 2nd June at 7pm
